About the Artist

My photo
I just love crafting, the messier the better. Have been crafting all my days but in the last 10 years have been doing more and more. My obsession began with making cards and from there I have tried many different forms of crafting. Great fan of Tim_Holtz love all his products would love to own them all one day. Graphic 45 is another must have for me and again would love to have it all. And then there is Prima well what can a girl say, just simply stunningly beautiful. Really enjoying the vintage, shabby chic and steampunk styles which are very much in vogue at the minute. Love Lace and Pearl trim, you might be seeing a fair bit of it all on here. xx Please keep calling past and enjoy my crafting journey with me. Great Big Huge Hugs Becca xxx

I'm an Auntie, I'm an Auntie, I'm an Auntie

Hello, just in case you hadn't already gathered YES I am an Auntie at long long last!  So excited my first wee niece.  She is just a wee cutie and I love her to bits.  Amy Beth was born on 17 March and I made this card to celebrate her arrival.  First girl in the family for a long time so everything has to be pink and frilly cause I say so :-)

Oh she is going to be spoilt rotten and if I have anything to do with it will be a wee crafter along with her Auntie!!

60th Birthday Card

Hello everyone.

Here we have the Birthday Card I made for my Mum's 60th Birthday.  I couldn't load it until now as I was frightened she would pop past a look to see what was happening on my blog.  But it is now up on her window ledge in the sitting room so I can safely put it on here.

This is my favourite picture of my Mum.  She only ever had 1 doll and this is it, Mum was never into dolly's but this one she really did love and I just love this picture of her.

Happy 60th again Mum, love you lots and lots

DCM Daily Challenge from 23 March 2012

My entry for Ditzy Craftymess Daily Challenge 23 March 2012.

Challenge was to create something using your favourite stamp and embossing.

As I had been working on some handmade flowers I thought I would incorporate these into my tag too.

Favourite stamp being Tim Holtz of course used in background and embossed with clear embossing powder.

Basque Birthday Card

I made this card for my husbands birthday.

Folded an A4 piece of card in half, cut it into a bodice shape, printed off some black lace patterned paper from computer and decorated with some bright pink feathers, black fibres to define and some clear beads. Coloured the neck line using pro marker skin accents and added silver peel offs. Brought a smile to his face :-)
