About the Artist

My photo
I just love crafting, the messier the better. Have been crafting all my days but in the last 16 years have been doing more and more. My obsession began with making cards and from there I have tried many different forms of crafting. Great fan of Tim_Holtz love all his products would love to own them all one day. Graphic 45 is another must have for me and again would love to have it all. And then there is Prima well what can a girl say, just simply stunningly beautiful. Really enjoying the vintage, shabby chic and steampunk styles which are very much in vogue at the minute. Love Lace and Pearl trim, you might be seeing a fair bit of it all on here. xx Please keep calling past and enjoy my crafting journey with me. Great Big Huge Hugs Becca xxx

CraftyHands Challenge Blog - Challenge #6 - Put a Tag On It

Well there is another Challenge live over at

Our new teamie Becka has chosen her winner and a difficult job it was with all the wonderful entries we have had yet again, thank you all so much for joining in.  If you haven't already, pop over to CraftyHands Challenge Blog to see who her winner is.

This will be my final DT Project for CraftyHands (weep, weep, sniffle, sniffle).  My DT term is up and I would like to say a huge thank you to Sandie and Tonya for having me on their team.  It has been an honour to be asked and a pleasure to be part of I have loved watching this Challenge Blog literally take off.  I wish them and all the current teamies all the very best and will do my best to join in with their future challenges as and when I can.

For this DT project I created a card which is also made as a custom order for a friends Grannie's 90th Birthday.  The card has been delivered last night and my friend is delighted with it.  He is sure his Grannie will love it also, Happy Birthday Grannie xxx

This card is A5 size using black cardstock as the base.  I used my favourite Prima paperline 'Lyric', layering it up and distressing it with TH DI Victorian Velvet, Walnut Stain and also Black Soot.  I used my new Marianne Design's die cuts to create the pink flourishes, WOC flowers from my stash, a Michael's pink doily, SU sentiment stamps and finished off the floral spray with a wee touch of diamond stickles.  I 'Put a Tag On It' with tags from my stash matted with some black cardstock to make them pop and added '90' with AC Thickers.

I hope you like my final DT project for CraftyHands Challenge Blog

Please take a look at my YouTube video showing this card in more detail

The prize for this Challenge provided by Crafty Hands

Great Big Huge Hugs
