Rhedd and Rosie's Anything Goes Challenge Blog - Challenge #25 - Anything Goes
Hello everyone the winner has been chosen for Challenge #24 over at Rhedd and Rosie's Challenge Blog so if you haven't already make sure to head over and check it out.
This fortnight our theme is
Anything Goes
Here is my DT project
We were given a choice of Digi Images from Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet to use for this challenge and I went for this gorgeous Floppy Latte..."Dandy Flower".
I started with a 5"x5" kraft card base. Using my wonderful Inktense pencils which hubby so very kindly bought me for my birthday, I set about colouring and painting the image. Once finished I covered the flower petals with Glossy Accents just to make them pop off the page. I used a Viva Decor script stamp and stamped all over the card base using Memento Rich Cocoa. Then I took a selection of patterned paper from my scraps drawer (I have challenged myself this year to make use of my scraps as the drawer is well and truly overflowing) and matted and layered them in a staggered fashion. Using one of my new Marianne Creatables dies I cut out some leaf flourishes in the same patterned papers as the first layer on the card. I used a Clearly Besotted sentiment 'Thinking of You' also stamped in Rich Cocoa on coordinating card, popped it up on pop dots and added a couple of gems to finish.
I hope you like my DT card using this image.
The prize for this challenge is sponsored by Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet and the winner will receive $10 voucher to spend across the 3 designers we are using:
Stitchy Stamps
Delicious Doodles
Floppy Latte
Thank you all again for stopping at my blog, I really appreciate you all.

Tsunami Rose Designs
I created this 5"x7" card using a kraft cardstock base. I distressed and rolled back the edges of this fantastic Monochrome TRD paper in Pink in Black to create the base for my card. I added a doily topped with a flower spray in co-ordinating colours from my stash. Then I matted some of the tickets onto black cardstock to make them pop from the card. I backed the 'Love This' and 'Forever' banners using white cardstock to make them stand out even more. To finish and add a bit of bling, I added a gem flourish to the top right of the card.
I really do love this collection another fabulous set from Tsunami Rose Designs.
I hope you like the card I have created using these wonderful papers. Please click on the links below to purchase these for yourself.

That Craft Place - Challenge 24 - Colour Palette
Hello everyone Challenge 24 is live over at That Craft Place Challenge Blog. Our theme for this challenge is
For my DT Project I decided to create this altered frame sticking to the Brown tones within the Colour Palette
I started with a MDF frame supplied by Lisa That Craft Place. I stamped around the outside of the frame with the fab rubber stamp '123456789' from Lisa's range. I took some Aluminium foil from my stash and laid some bits down and used an embossing tool to create the rivets. I edged the frame in TH DI Walnut Stain and edged over that then with some fabby Inca Gold in Silver. The cogs are a mixture of cardboard die cuts and metal ones from my stash finished in a mixture of UT, Inca Gold and Alcohol Inks. The centre of the frame I cut out some DCWV paper with typewriter keys on and framed it then using some silver chain also having some Alcohol Ink applied. I used the TH chitchat words to crate the 'embrace a creative soul' on to a die cut ticket and popped it onto a TH Memo Pin held in place with a mini domino and a paper flower edged in Walnut Stain and used a zip pull as the centre. I tool some charms, clock face and a filigree piece from my stash along with a TH nib to add some interest around the frame along with some black lace trim from Lisa's store topped with a resin flower from my stash.
Available from That Craft Place
MDF Frame
Ditzi Designs Rubber Stamp
Inca Gold (one of my favs and an essential for me)
Fab selection of trims and lace

Tsunami Rose Designs
I created this Mini Tag Album using the gorgeous papers from Tsunami Rose Designs - 'Monochrome'. These papers are another spectacular collection from Daisy. I Started by cutting out all the cut outs from the collection. I then cut black cardstock 5.5" x 7.5" and cut and rounded the corners to create the tag shape. Each of the 8 pages are covered front and back with a different paper from the collection. I then added some of the cut outs creating pockets, added some tickets and tags. I made use of the fantastic tabs on eash page running in number order down the right hand side of the album. I bound the album together using my Bind It All. I embellished the whole album using ribbons, flowers and lace from my stash. To finish I tied coordinating ribbons to the wire binding.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, please go over and take a look at the fabulous collection at Tsunami Rose (links below)

That Craft Place Challenge Blog - Use a Charm
Hello everyone Challenge 23 is live over at That Craft Place Challenge Blog. Our theme for this challenge is
Use a Charm
For my DT Project I decided to create this Wall Plaque
I started with a piece of scrap wood from my Dad's workshop, I sanded it down and shaped around the edges using his electric sander.
I then took the fabulous stencils supplied by Lisa That Craft Place and used TH DI Walnut Stain for the king fisher stencil but used it more as a florish around the outside of the plaque and then using my favourite Inca Gold in gold I made the beautiful angel face stencil appear. I spritzed the whole plaque then with Cosmic Shimmer in Bronze to give a wonderful glimmer all over. I added the gorgeous crochet lace from That Craft Place along the bottom of the plaque and spritzed and inked up 'Inspire' (a wooden piece from my stash) and placed along the top. I tucked the brass key bellow and topped with a 10mm open rose. For a wee touch of bling I added some bling on a roll from my stash which toned in well with the colour scheme. The cluster of flowers are from my stash but tucked in behind the bottom cluster is some fab burlap from That Craft Place. I made a little handmade leather bound book and tucked it into the cluster too, I love the effect of these little books and they are so so easy to make. I made the butterfly look as if it has a trail by using an old broken pearl necklace. To finish off I then dotted some diamond stickles in around the clusters of flowers.
Available from That Craft Place
Ditzy Design Stencils (well worth a look these are ace to work with)
Inca Gold (one of my favs and an essential for me)
Brass Key
Burlap
Cosmic Shimmer
Stickles
I hope you like my project, I had lots of fun creating it and getting in my first inky crafty mess of 2014 :-)

CraftyHands Anything Goes Challenge Blog - Challenge #5 - Anything Goes
I can't believe it but that is the 4th Challenge finished over at CraftyHands Challenge Blog already. What fabulous entries folks, wow so so many entries. All fabulous but a winner had to be chosen and chosen it has been so make sure to check out our winner.
This fortnight challenge #5 we are going for
'Anything Goes'
This is my DT project for this Challenge
I love making Mini Albums and this one was so much fun. I have made it using the Split Paper Bag format shown by Laura Dennison on YT. I always enjoy making mini's/memory books and this one is one of my favourites so far. I just love the DCWV Mariposa papers and I decided to really break into my 6x4 stack for this one. With the papers being so beautiful I didn't really embellish this one at all in the inside, but dressed it up a bit using my MS Daisy Border punch. The cover is made from some mount board and painted in black gesso. The DCWV paper has been edged through out with TH DI in Black Soot which I think adds a real depth to the papers. I embellished the front with flowers from my stash, The massive blue one is a gorgeous one sent to me from my friend Jane in America and matches so well with the blue butterflies on the papers. I added some swirly bling and a pearl butterfly and was very lucky to receive the gorgeous topper with 'Friends are Flowers that never fade' from Gina in a RAK, thank you again Gina it is the perfect colour for my album.
I hope you like my inspiration creation for this Challenge, I have a YT Video showing it in more detail
The prize is again sponsored by the lovely Tonya, Owner of CraftyHands

This is a 6.5 x 6.5 inch black based card. I used 3 different papers from a Lawn Fawn paper stack from my stash, I distressed the edges and used TH DI Walnut and layered them up in a staggered fashion. I had some decoupage sheets I found in my stash and I used this one with 'Great Dad' on it, the beer keg and pint glass. I used some diamond stickles on the froth to make it stand out. I then embellished with a clock, cogs, bling, black lace and a wee heart charm that says 'Made with Love'. I used a Clearly Besotted Stamp Set 'Birthday Wishes' for my sentiment on the front again distressing and using TH DI Walnut Stain. To finish off I used some White Gesso and rubbed it here and there over the front of the card.
It is my Dad's Birthday tomorrow so this is made especially for him. I do hope he likes it.
