Altered Heart Box

High everyone.  I have been busy over the weekend doing all sorts of craft things that I needed to get caught up with.  I have bought myself some Marianne Creatable die cuts and they are so great and simple to use.  Find it very relaxing sitting making them up.  I have also been making lots of rolled roses flowers for a few projects that I have on the back burner.

After watching quite a few videos on YouTube recently I fancied trying my had at some altered projects and have completed my first - My Altered Heart Box for my Mum's 60th Birthday.  I hope she likes it!  the box itself only cost me 10p from one of my charity shop hauls and well I think it looks quite sweet, wonder if she will recognise it, she was with me when I bought it heehee :-)  I have been searching through charity shops to see what little bits and bobs I can pick up to alter.  Even have a wish list given to my husband in case he happens to see things that I want/need :-).
