Its time for Challenge #3 already over at Crafty Hands Challenge Blog.
A winner has been chosen and named from Challenge #2 'Vintage' so if you haven't already why not pop over and check it out.
This fortnights Challenge theme is 'Sparkle 'n Bling' now who doesn't like a bit of that?
This is my DT project I altered a picture frame and 'Sparkled 'n Blinged' it up :-)
This is an oval picture frame that I picked up last year on my fantastic trip to The States. From the fantabulous store, Michaels. Oh the fun I had shopping in there on more than one occasion, much to my husbands eventual annoyance (oops!!). Anyway I painted the whole frame white and then added some Stampendous Frantage in Shabby Pink in 4 sections, I really do like this stuff and again from another wonderful store in The States, Jo-Anns :-). I then hot glued some irredecent flat backed pearls around the centre of the frame and added some bling around the bare outer edges. I added one of my handmade lace flowers to the bottom topped with a wonderful Bling centre. I created flower clusters with some pink and white flowers and some sparkly white leaves and a bling butterfly for good measure. I cut up a vintage image napkin and added this lovely image which I think just finishes off the overall effect beautifully.

Wow, Becca! What a lovely vintage picture frame - so feminine and sweet! Very pretty with the added bling and little pearly winged dragonfly! It was quite enjoyable checking out your other artwork too! I've become your newest follower and look forward to seeing what new designs you'll be sharing. hugs, de {Creative Smiles}
